The Southern Cairn Club held an open show at Watlington. I felt privileged to judge such a quality entry on what turned out to be a lovely warm day, on the whole presentation was excellent, just a few needing a little more attention to coat tidying.

Unfortunately I feel still some concern over hind movement, moving close behind, there were some exceptional bitches which made certain decisions difficult, some great masculine heads, among the dogs of course! Veteran classes were delightful & one could say that there is still a lot of life in the old dogs yet!

BIS was Correnie Crazy For You; BOS & BP, Vanajam Pop Idol.

MPD (1)1 Ward's Vanajam Pop Idol. 7 months. outstanding wheaten puppy, well balanced with great ring presence in one so young, lovely masculine head with alert expression, prominent stop, good reach of neck, level topline, well ribbed, correct tailset, coat of good texture, moved out freely with strong rear propulsion keeping stunning outline, shows great promise, will watch his progress with great interest.
