Critique After Results 

Being third in the ring I would like to thank the exhibitors for their patience on an extremely hot day. A number of dogs found the ground smells very interesting & some very distracted by the public announcement system but overall I felt they coped very well with temperatures in excess of thirty degrees centigrade.

1. Peers' TWEEDISLE THAT SPECIAL SON Well grown 6mth cream with good head & expression. Dark eye. Correct mouth. Dense coat of good texture. Steady mover & shower. Needs to watch his weight.

 

2. Lifton's GLENROOD STORMKEEPER AT LIFFYCAIRN 11mth grey brindle with good head. New coat coming in. A little loose in front movement. Showed well on the move.

 

3. Matthews SHARPAMATT THE PARTY'S HERE.

1. Shopland's CHERRYCRACK MACK THE KNIFE Grey brindle with lovely head with good stop & correct mouth. Clean neck & shoulders. Good front & well muscled hind quarters. Moved & showed well. Coat not at its best. ResBD

 

2. Peers' TWEEDISLE SWEET TALKING GUY Another nice dog & similiar comments apply. Not so positive in hind movement today.

1. Brown's CRUZO GOLD CHARMER Well presented cream with correct balance. Good head,stop & mouth. Good front.Level topline. Lovely standing. Would prefer more drive from hind quarters.BD & BOS.

 

2. Ough's OCEDAR ZEPHYR Red shown in full coat. smaller pattern to 1. Steady showman.

1. Warne's LADY JADE ENRAW 7mth cream with dark points. Attractive head with good stop, dark eye. Good mouth. Full coat of correct texture. Moved & showed well. BP

 

2. Dolan's GLENROOD CASCADE Very showy 11mth cream with lovely outline. Good head, neck & shoulders. Level topline. Short of coat at present.

 

3. Keeves' SEVEEK ONE FOR THE MONEY.

1. Matthews BIRSELAW MOMENT OF JOY. Nicely balanced bitch with typical head & expression. Good front with clean neck & shoulders. Level topline & tailset. Moved & showed well.

 

2. Dodd's TRIBANNON FAIR LADY Grey brindle with nice head. Neat ears, good stop. Clean neck & shoulders. Not happy with the conditions & could benefit from some ringcraft.

1. Osborn's TWESLAM IZZY WIZZY GET BIZZY Beautifully balanced. Brightest of reds shown in excellent coat & condition. Lovely head & expression. Good stop, correct eye. Good mouth. Clean neck & shoulders. Level topline held on the move. Showed all out in the heat. Drives well from behind. Pleased to award her BOB. She didn't let her handler down in the group despite the rush to get there.

 

2. Towers' DENELAND CATHERINE Different type to 1. Lovely head with wicked expression. Coat of correct texture. Goof front with correct neck & shoulders. Level topline. Steady showgirl. Res BB.

 

3. Lifton's GLENROOD TANZANITE MAGIC AT LIFFYCAIRN

1. Osborns TWESLAM KALAMAZOO Red brindle with attractive head. Well presented.Moves well fore & aft. A quality bitch.

 

2. Dolan's GLENROOD DUSTY PIPIT. Another quality bitch from this kennel. Just preferred the front movement on 1 today.

 

3. Newton's STRATHINVER SOLOIST.
