“Well Behaved” Yorkshire Grey Brindle Cairn Terrier Required For Stardom!

The Brenndarcy Cairns only has one Grey Brindle adult (Cindy) in the kennel and she unfortunately inherited the “Naughty Gene” so I won’t bother to book her an audition!

Don’t forget to let me know if you get the part - so we can print pics etc on the Midland Newspage!

Brenda

I received the following email today from The West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds.

“I am writing on behalf of the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds where, at Christmas, we will be producing classic musical The Wizard Of Oz.

As I am sure you are aware the story involves a dog called Toto, which we are in the process of looking for. We are requiring a well-behaved, trained Cairn Terrier which I was hoping that you may train through your business or know of an owner that may want this opportunity for their pet.

We start rehearsals on the 23rd October for 4 weeks and the show runs from 25th November through until the 3rd February 2007. We know this is a long run, and this is why we are looking for two or possibly three dogs to share the job.

We are also looking for a dog minder/chaperone that would be in charge of collecting the dogs, bringing them to the theatre and looking after them during the show. Therefore the person must have a driving licence but not necessarily their own transport.

If you are interested in this, please do not hesitate to call either myself or Diane Asken, Company Manager for further information. Our contact details are at the bottom of this letter.

I have also enclosed a poster which I hope you wouldn’t mind displaying or showing to any possible Toto’s (or more specifically their owners).

Thank-you in advance for your time and efforts and looking forward to be hearing from you in the near future

 Yours Sincerely
