Cairn Terrier Handling Day

Dawn Inett & the MCTC
held a handling day at Hasland Village hall. With 16 attending.
The day began on a light
note with a mock class demonstration by
“The Midland Cairn Terrier Display Team” this comprised of Linda Firth,
Maud Hawkes, Brenda Shannon, Julie Petts & Sue Braybrook giving their Judge
Chris Petts a very hard time! (Sorry no photographs, but it may be out on DVD soon)
Dawn then presented an
action packed day keeping her “pupils” busy with mock classes inside and out,
problem solving, ring scenarios from crowding - to table presentation, tips on
just about everything from which type of lead suits your dog - to what to wear,
dog grooming, power point presentation, question & answer discussion.
The general consensus was
very positive and the day proved to be a great success.
