Windsor Championship Dog Show
30th June 2010
I would like to thank the Windsor committee for inviting me to judge at this well run show. Thank you to all who entered, I feel honoured to have had such a good, quality entry.
To anyone who left feeling disappointed, may I remind you that I am only one judge, and on another day under another judge placings may change. I place the dogs as I see them, according to the entry on the day, and at the end of the day I was very happy with the dogs in my final line up.
I thoroughly enjoyed the day, and although unable to stay to support Sue Dolan with ’Maisie’, in the group, I was reliably informed that she looked stunning!

Puppy Dog (2,0abs)
1st Newton’s STRATHINVER SPECIFICATION. Wheaten 9mth old, with a masculine head, and good sized teeth. Nice length of neck, balanced, with a nice length of loin. Moved well, needs his new coat to finish him off.
2nd Lamb & Saltmarsh’s RENSHAW THERE AND BACK AGAIN. Dark brindle 9month old more mature than 1. Nice head with full furnishings, with more coat than 1. Moved ok, showed well for his handler.
Junior Dog (1,0abs)
1st Keeve’s SEVEEK WHO DARE’S WINS. Good head, correct shaped eye, good stop and correct dentition. Nice length of neck. Rear angulations gave him superb extension on the rear when moving. Also proved he could sit to command in his later class!
Post Graduate Dog (2,0 abs)
1st Confue’s Anjofra I’m Not Going JW. Grey brindle of a nice size, and well balanced. Good shoulders giving to a good level topline. Would like to see him taken just a touch quicker on the move, but he moved well, and showed well, it was a pleasure to award him RBD
2nd Lamb & Saltmarsh’s BIRESLAW FABLE. Brindle with a good head and expression. Moved ok, not as well balanced as 1. Alert to his handler.
Limit Dog (2,0abs)
1st Thompson’s CASTLELINE BANG ON TIME. This light red boy carries himself so well, he has a typical masculine head with dark mask, and dark nicely placed ears. Nicely balanced, allowing him to move well keeping a level topline. Found out afterwards that he was not handled by his owner – he still showed his socks off, and stood out in the final line up. Pleased to award BD.
2nd Kinchin’s TYREECE’S TICKS AT PENNIDAZZLE. Red brindle with masculine head, moved steadily, movement would benefit from losing a little weight.
