This years MCTC Awards will be slightly different from previous years. Below are how points will be allocated from this year (2013).

Top Cairn is awarded to the dog or bitch who has the most points at the end of the year.

BOS Cairn is awarded to the highest placed opposite sex to the Top cairn winner.

Top Puppy - Awarded to the Puppy with most points awarded whilst aged 6-12 months

Top Kennel Awarded to the kennel who has the most points from

the total sum of all winning dogs with the same Affix won as a Puppy or Adult .

Top Sire + Top Dam Are awarded points for CC's & RCC's gained by their progeny . Major change is that 5 points are awarded for the first CC awarded to their progeny then 1 for all subsequent CC's awarded in the same year. Half a point will be awarded for all RCC's. ( No points given for BOB or group placings)

Top KC Breeder. (New Award) Points awarded for breeders who take part in KC Breeders Class and group at Championship Shows.
