Thanks to the generosity of her many many friends in the dog world, as well those outside it, the amount raised by donations before, at, and after Fiona’s funeral has reached £1,000.  The money has been donated to Ward 32, the cancer ward, at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.  Jim wishes to extend his sincere thanks to everyone who contributed so generously.

Jim Cameron would like to express his heartfelt thanks to all those who attended the funeral of his wife Fiona in Perth yesterday, many of them travelling long distances to do so.  The flowers from clubs and individual persons throughout the UK and from New South Wales gave wonderful colour to a ceremony which was a celebration of Fiona’s life. The donations by those who were present and those who were not have reached a substantial sum which will go to the Ward of the hospital in which Fiona died.  To all Fiona’s many many friends, a large number of whom sent cards, letters and e-mails of sympathy,  thank you.

The funeral of Fiona Cameron will take place at 12.30pm on Wednesday, 30 January at Perth Crematorium

There will be a collection at the service for donations to Ninewells Hospital, Flowers will be distributed to local hospitals.

It is with great sadness that we have to report that Fiona Cameron died yesterday (Thursday 17th January).

She was taken into Ninewells Hospital in Dundee on Wednesday.  Her husband Jim was at her side and said that she fought for life the same way she fought her cancer – with immense courage and determination.

Our thoughts and condolences are with Jim at this very sad time. Fiona will leave a big hole in our Cairn world; she will be sadly missed by us all.

We will keep you updated with news of the Funeral.
