Our Judge Lynda Hughes (Gyncairn)

Our first Cairn was in 1974 and we bought her from Elsie Banton (Castlecairn). Her name was Gynny and that is how I got my prefix Gyncairn. Over the last thirty nine years I have always been surrounded by Cairn Terriers. I did have a short break to have my daughter but was still involved in dogs, stewarding at Chasewater show each

year and judging novelty classes at local dog shows. In 1992 I was honoured to own Penticharm Silver Dawn (Libby) and since then have been privileged to breed, own and show some beautiful and successful Cairns, a breed that I am proud of.
