“ANTIQUE SILVER SPOON FOR SALE: Hallmarked silver London 1814, makers Josiah & George Piercy, engraved ‘Brocaire Jura.’ Jura, owned and bred by Mrs Alistair Campbell, was born in 1923, by Harviestoun Raider x Brocaire Jonquil. She became a champion in 1926, winning 7 CC’s in all. It is probable the spoon was gifted as a ‘special’ and won by Mrs Campbell, who then had it engraved, but there is no clue as to which show or for what it was presented.
