Thank
you to the committee of the Southern Cairn Terrier Club for inviting me to
judge their centenary open show. It was a real honour, & I will treasure my
wonderful gift – it’s very me! I would also like to that all of the exhibitors
for their entries.
It was a shame the weather was not on our side meaning
the show had to take place in doors. A lot of patience was shown by exhibitors
& their dogs – thank you. The smell of wet Cairns added to the atmosphere
of the day!
I was delighted to find exhibits being shown with
correct bites& clean teeth, my main concern are the number of dogs carrying
a little bit too much weight. They seemed to like their treats! It’s a shame as
movement is impacted if a dog is on the heavy side. Temperaments were excellent
which was a pleasure to see in the ring.
My thanks also go to my stewards who assisted in making
the day run smoothly.
