Joint Cairn Terrier Clubs’ Judging Lists

At the recent Judges’ Working Party Meeting it was agreed that all C List judges should be placed en bloc on the Breed’s B List with effect from the 1 January 2019. This is to assist judges in hopefully attaining the A2 List by the 31 December 2021 which in turn would lead to automatic transition to Level 4 of the Judges Competency Framework providing they have registered with the Kennel Club.

The Breed Education Co-ordinator, Louise Peers, will be in contact in due course to explain what will be required going forward when the system goes live from January 2019.

The Breed criteria for moving to the A3 list will be available on Club websites from January 2019 and application forms can be obtained from the Working Party Secretary, Frances Goldfinch, email jointcairnterrierclub@btinternet.com  Placement on the A2 list is by application to the Kennel Club when the full requirements of the A3 List have been met, the Secretary can advise you with regard to an application.

Finally the Joint Cairn Terrier Clubs’ Judging Lists are now closed to new applicants and attention is drawn to the statement below;

  “Before accepting your first judging appointment you must register a JCF Account with a declaration of intent as an “Aspiring Judge” and achieve JCF Level 1 status”

The declaration will be located on the KC Academy, which is due to Go Live in 2019. Date to be confirmed.
