Cairn Terrier Fun Day 2017, Lewknor. After much discussion and with heavy hearts Sharon and Dawn have
taken the decision that the Fun Day will no longer be a regular event on the
Cairn Calendar The Fun Day at Lewknor, initially organised by Graham Peers,
then in more recent years taken over by Carol, Sharon and Dawn has, over the
years, raised a phenomenal amount of money for the Health and Welfare of
Cairns but both Sharon and Dawn feel that the Fun Day without Carol, can no
longer take place The Fun Day was scheduled to take place on Saturday, 24th June 2017. Instead of making the
trip to Lewknor for the Fun Day, Sharon and Dawn would like you to get out
those red shoes and walk your dogs! Walk you dogs in celebration of Carol’s life and to have your
own fun day! Take photos and post them, either on the Midland Cairn Club
website or direct to the Carol Confue Memorial page on facebook. If you feel you would like to donate money to the Fun Day, then
please do but, make your cheques payable to CTRF or go on line to donate: http://www.cairn-rescue.co.uk/ This brings to a close a long running event that has enabled
many people to come together for the love of their Cairns and raise money for
such a worthy cause. Sharon and Dawn would like to thank everyone who
has contributed to the Fun Day over the years and would urge people to attend
the Cairn Rescue Fun Day on 3rdSeptember 2017 |
