News From Australia I just wish to inform you that Muriel Clarke
(ALMAIYIRI) died yesterday, having been admitted to hospital just on 3 weeks
ago. Muriel celebrated her 90th birthday in March and whilst no
longer showing still took an interest in Cairn news here and in the UK, I
know she was very upset about the demise of Dog World. The highlight of her
Cairn showing would have been the success she had in the ring with Aus Ch
Brucairn Nicholas (Imp UK) whom she chose from a litter during a visit
to the UK by her and Maisie McNeild. Muriel was involved in the establishment
of the Lillydale Kennel Club and Scottish Breeds Kennel Club. She was a
member of the Cairn Terrier Club of Victoria for many years and the Sporting
Terrier Club of Victoria. You may like to put up something on the MCTC News
