1st October 2018 One of our well known American Cairnites Nan Anderson Has Died. Below is a tribute published on face book by her close friend Marion Roller. “Today is a
bitter/sweet day as I say good-bye to my dear sweet friend and mentor Nan
Anderson. I received a text at 5:35 this morning from her daughter Ginny that
her mom had just passed. I rejoice that she is with the Lord. Little tails
are wagging in heaven today as she was greeted by all the Norfolk Terriers
and Cairn Terriers that have been waiting on her to cross the bridge. As the
Montgomery, PA shows take place this week I ask each of you to raise a glass
at the banquets and make a toast in Nan's honor for all of her dedication and
hard work within both breeds, to her willingness to share her wealth of
knowledge with anyone who asked, and for her loving heart she so openly gave
to her friends and family. She was a classy lady, we shared far beyond our
love of dogs, we considered each other family and we shared some of our
deepest secrets. I'm going to miss her sweet voice, her infectious giggles,
her daily texts, her phone calls, and all of her loving support and advice.
She was a very special lady and she will forever live on in my heart and the
hearts of her family and those who loved her. This is the last picture she
shared with me. Please keep her and her family in your prayers.”
