Eye Testing

Advance warning of an Eye Testing Session to identify inherited and non-inherited eye conditions in dogs will take place at the Midland Cairn Terrier Club’s Championship show on Sunday 8 December 2019.

Mr P McPHERSON, BVMS CertVOphthal MRCVS will be the BVA/KC/ISDS Eye Panellist.

The normal cost of such a
  test is £58 per dog but provided 25 or more dogs are tested this is reduced
  to £41. Further subsidies are offered by the Joint Cairn Terrier Clubs and
  the Cairn Terrier Health Group which reduce the
  cost to £20 per dog. The further subsidies are on offer to members of the UK
  Cairn Terrier Clubs only.

Dogs not entered for exhibition at the show
  can be tested but these must be entered Not For Competition on the entry
  form. KC Registration certificates must be brought on the day and dogs must
  have an active microchip.

Gonioscopy testing will not be
  carried out at this session.

Booking forms will be issued with
  schedules for the Championship show and fees must be paid when booking, forms
