MCTC 1st Championship show 7 December 1985 Mrs Somerfield awards the An Airidh
Sash to Mrs Jennings' bitch Doonrae Yorkshire Girl I am sorry to let
you know that Feffie Somerfield passed away this
morning. She was 85 years old. Feffie had been cared for in a
nursing home since November 2020 and was suffering from Alzheimer's. At the time of
her death Feffie was President of the LKA and UK
Toy Dog Society. She was Patron of the Cairn Terrier Association and held
many other positions on many breed clubs. At Feffie's request there will be no funeral but I
anticipate that some friends and colleagues may wish to make donations in Feffie's memory. Her close friend, Bryan Mitchell, who
had lived with Feffie since 2004, suggests the
