OPEN SHOW APRIL 30th 2022
I would like to thank the Committee and members
for inviting me to judge at their Open Show and for their hospitality, on
what was a lovely warm Spring day.
I would also like to thank my very able stewards
for keeping me focused.
MPD 4 (1)
1st Waughs Glenrood
Galaxy at Tribannon dark brindle very mature boy for his age, lovely head
good stop and large teeth. Adequate length of neck with well laid shoulder
placement, strong depth of rib. Moved well.
2nd Kippen’s Chezaku Beachcomber Grey brindle, very alert and of good
size. Pleasing head and outline well balanced, stood well on the table.
3rd Saich’s Lindcoly Austin Powers

1st Keeves Seveek Guilded
Dream Red/wheaten lovely size for his age. Correct scissor bite and definite
stop on a pleasing head. Good length of leg in proportion to body size, moved
o.k. when settled.
2nd Saich’s Lindcoly outta sight. Dark
brindle long in face which spoilt his expression. Good body proportions and
well up to size. Moved well when settled.
Junior 1 (1)
1st Mr T and Mrs G Morley’s Kanawha Spy Man.
Stood alone. Grey brindle lovely head with definite stop, correct bite and
ears well placed. Pity he was unsettled on table but well presented. Moved
well.
Minor Limit 4 (1)
1st Lamb & Saltmarsh’s Birsselaw
Come Dancing with Macmoon OSW JW ShCEx ShCM 4 year old dark
brindle. Head has correct mouth and scissor bite, super kind eye and neat ear
set that gave that typical Cairn expression, well furnished. Good length of
neck and depth of rib, Leg in proportion to body. Came in the ring showing
well and went out of the ring showing well BD & RB of B
2nd Keeve’s Seveek Carry on the Dream 2 year old
dark brindle. Good scissor bite, well balanced, preferred showmanship of 1st

1st Weinberger;s Cruzo Copper Coin for Correnie
4 year old red brindle, good head with well defined
stop and good ear set. Level top line and moved steadily round the ring.
Day’s Trekhilli Pepperazzi 6 year old dark brindle, good head and scissor
bite, well sprung rib and amble length of leg. Moved well, preferred tailset
of No1

1st Dolans Glenrood Scheherazade 8 year old
wheaten, great head and stop, teeth in excellent condition and well presented
in good coat. Stood well on table. Easily awarded Best Veteran
2nd Lamb & Saltmarsh’s Birselaw Dark Charmer
for Macmoon ShCM VW . 8 year old dark brindle, good head and expression,
well presented.
3rd Windline’s Born to
Run Wild
Special Veteran (10+ years) 2 (1)
1st Lamb & Saltmarsh’s Renshaw there and
Back Again. Dark Brindle very willing as he walked in the ring with purpose
for his years! Good head and carried that alert Cairn expression, a little
over weight.
Minor Puppy Bitch 2
1st Saich’s Lindcoly Phantom Menace. A very exuberant alert puppy,
very feminine head with definite indentation, super ear set, eyes giving the
right expression, good shoulder lay and sprung rib, moved well.
2nd Dolan’s Glenrood Midnight Spell. Dark
Brindle good head and definite stop. Nice large teeth and scissor bite, good
topline which showed when she finally settled in the ring.
Puppy Bitch 4 (1)
1st Saich’s Lindcoly Maleficent. Wheaten bribdle
feminine baby with super head, body in good proportion to leg length. Well
animated round the ring. BPB
2nd Metcalf – Salt’s Cannwood Can’t Get Enough.
Wheaten with good head definite stop, well sprung rib and good proportion
length of leg. Little shy in the ring today.
3rd Tester’s Airytykes

1stWaugh’s Glory Daze at Tribannon. Wheaten
Brindle good head and well sprung rib. Adequate length of neck with nice
shoulder ley. Level topline with pleasing tailset.
2n Saich’s Lindcoly Witches Brew. Grey brindle correct scissor bite,
and well placed ears, well constructed pity
movement was unsettled.
Novice Bitch 5 (1)
1st Saich’s Lindcoly Turning Back Time. Another grey brindle, small
head and medium size of eye, correct ear placement. Pleasing body
proportions, moved and showed well.
2nd Asmyhr’s Motoppen’s Pinot Noir. Grey brindle pleasing head nice
erect ear placement. Well laid back shoulder and good body proportions. Lost
out on first place because she dropped her tail in final line up.

1st Thompson’s Castleline Maitree
2 year wheaten bitch. Quality girl who caught my eye when she walked in the
ring. Super head with correct scissor bite. Well laid back shoulder and depth
of rib, moved well with level topline and at one with handler. Easily placed
for BIS.
2nd Osborne’s Tweslam
Chasing Rainbows. Dark Brindle with good head and well set eye, good length
of leg and well proportioned body level topline.
3rd Metcalf-Sault’s Quiet Reflections.
Minor Limit Bitch 6 (2)
1st Soper’s Elite
Charm Showgirl. Super wheaten 2 year old, compact and well balanced, lovely
to go over with good head correct scissor bite and stop. Well laid back
shoulder and a well sprung rib cage.Moved well,
just seemed a little bit quiet today, glad to award RBB
2nd Dolan’s Dance till Dusk. A lovely wheaten 3 year old in great condition and coat, wasn’t settled today.
Open Bitch 2 (2)
1st Keeve’s Seveek Everlasting Dream. Dark
brindle 3 year old lovely head with correct bite and well placed teeth, small
pointed ears. Level back and topline, moved well.
2nd Tester’s Airytykes
Excuse me5 year wheaten good head and nice kind eye giving that Cairn
expression, preferred movement of 1st
