CAIRN TERRIER CLUB CH SHOW 5 OCTOBER 2002

JUDGE; PAT JEFFREY

A disappointing entry numerically but still a depth of quality. I  feel that we don’t need to worry too much about heads, there are plenty of good heads about. Movement is still a problem, I think that indifferent front movement is much more prevalent that poor rear movement. I know that movement in youngsters can improve but even in mature  Cairns it is hard to find good sound front movement.

VETERAN DOG (4-1)

1               RAE’S CHRIANBI COXCOMB PROMIENT. Very  smart dark brindle only just making veteran at 7 years. In  excellent coat, attractive head, full of life and really sparkling. Sound mover.

2               GOUD’S DAVMAR VIKING ARROW. Light red 9 year old. A very good head, dark points, good quality coat. Carrying a lot of weight and I just preferred movement of 1.

3               SCOTT’S ROBSTONE BARON
